SECP1513 Technology and Information System introduce introduce us to information systems and technology (IS/IT) and its uses at home and work. By learning this course, we will study deeply about the topics hardware, software, network and communications. In this course, we have industrial visit to go Huawei, Petronas and UTM Digital which make us Get to know the corporate culture as early as possible, experience the working atmosphere and gain a deeper understanding of these companies and department. Besides, we also equipped with basic skills in handling PC installation.

The talk and visit to UTM Digital successfully sparked our excitement about future career and advanced technologies in the industry. It provided a better view of their main work and working environment, deepening our knowledge of computer-related topics. The witnessing through the visit makes theoretical concepts visualized, and insights from professionals during the talk deepen my understanding.

I will be strengthening my programming skills, keeping myself updated on the latest technologies, and practicing lifelong learning to become a proficient system developer in the next four years. I will work with teammates on various projects to enhance my teamwork and system development skills.

Through PC Assemble:
- I learned how to properly reassemble a computer and assembly it back together.
- I learned more about the parts inside a computer and their functions.
- The tacit understanding between me and the team members has increased. After listening to the explanation, everyone had the opportunity to do hand on and quickly perform each different step. In the end, our cooperation makes us the fastest team complete the assembly task in the class.

By studying TIS, I learned about the technology and various components of the Internet that have always been around us. Every assignment I completed left me impressed with the activities we did. For example, in design thinking, the topic for our group is social media. When completing this assignment, we deeply explored the various problems users encountered when using social media, and selected one of the most serious problems(Internet Fraud and Scams) to provide a solution for it. Besides, upon particitaping to these talk, I have a clear goals on my career development path. I will always strengthen my skills and discover new technology to become more competitve in the industry. Thanks to TIS, made my goals clearer, broadened my knowledge, and helped me better adapt to future career development.
